Ministry of Tourism and National Committee for Clean City Assessment Lead 800 People to Participate in a Campaign “Cambodia Cleanup”

(Phnom Penh)” Ministry of Tourism and National Committee for Clean City Assessment in cooperation with Phnom Penh Municipality Hall and Let’s do it World Organization, in the morning of 21st September 2019 launched a campaign “Cambodia Cleanup” and mainstreaming awareness about sanitation and clean environment in celebration of “World Cleanup Day”.

This campaign, there are participation from Phnom Penh Environment Department, Phnom Penh Tourism Department, Chip Mong Group Organization, AEON Specialized Bank Cambodia, GGear Group, Cambodia Tourism Federation, students and the public which are totally about 800. This campaign was conducted with the views to:

1.         To inspire and encourage the public in maintaining sanitation and clean environment as well as to contribute and enhance the implementation of accurately solid waste management in the urban;

2.         To foster urban development to become clean tourism cities in parallel with campaign “Clean City, Clean Resorts, Good Service, and Best Hospitality”.
