Senior Officials of WHO Praise Cambodia’s fast Handling in Managing “3 November Incident” and Deem as a Good Sample in Public Health Sector

(Phnom Penh): Senior officials of the World Health Organization (WHO) strongly commended Cambodian Royal Government leaders, with Samdech Techo HUN SEN, as Head for having been fast decided in preventing for having no the outbreak of Covid-19 in the “3 November incident”. The senior official of WHO considered Cambodian Royal Government’s leader to have taken action as a good example in public health sector.  The disease caused by Corona virus (Covid-19) is a disease that experts in the public health sectors evaluated as a most fast spreading disease. The (3 Nov incident), the direct and indirect communication with Mr. Peter Szijjarto, Minister of  Foreign Affairs  and Trade of Hungary by Samdech Techo HUN SEN and Cambodian senior officials, as well as up to over 4, 000 officials and people who had been in contact with, has brought about strongly concern over the outbreak of Covid-19 into the communities.  Samdech Techo HUN SEN, who has never looked down dangerous conditions, laid out most urgent and firm measures in preventing the outbreak of Covid-19 in the incident of “3 November”. Samdech has never hesitated to preventing the pandemic of Covid-19 in the incident of 3 November such as the finding on those who had been in contact to be checked and quarantined for 14 days, the schools lockdown, the lockdown of Olympic stadium, the lockdown of sport clubs and the closure of many other gathering places.   Dr. Takeshi Kasai, WHO Regional Director for the Western Pacific, wrote on his Twitter that a collective welfare depends on strong and active leadership of each individual. Dr. Takeshi Kasai commended for the management of “3 November incident” of Cambodia that “I would like to praise Cambodia for her fast decision in managing the cluster infection on the incident of {3 November} of the diplomatic visit, and admired leader of Cambodian Royal Government who has applied as a good model in the public health sector”. Mrs. Dr Li Ailan is the Representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) and Head of the WHO Country Office to the Kingdom of Cambodia wrote on her Twitter that the fast finding which timely responded with targeted intervention determined is the most necessary factor to get victory over the prevention to have no pandemic.  She said admiring and congratulating Cambodia for well managing for incident of “3 November” and maintaining public health safety for the whole Cambodian people. The incident “3 Nov” has been called as the successful managing on the outbreak of Covid-19 disease of the Cambodian Royal Government under leadership of Samdech Techo HUN SEN after this disease has not spread into the communities. The incident “3 Nov”, over forty thousands who had been direct and indirect in contact were tested for Covid-19 and were required to be 14 days quarantined. With regard to the incident, there were 4 peoples found positive for Covid-19 and dispatched to be hospitalized. The two patients recovered as of 20 November, and the two remaining patients are being hospitalized.
