Tourism Department of Battambang Province Hold an Internal Training Course on Preparedness for Advertisement and Welcoming to Tourists after Anti – Covid-19 Vaccine Injected

(Battambang): In the evening of December 10, 2020, at the tourism department of Battambang province, there was a preparation of an internal training course on the preparedness for advertisement and the welcoming for Tourists following the anti – Covid-19 vaccine injected, which was presided over by Mr.  Uch Um Phinisara, director of tourism department of Battambang province, with the total 20 participants who are the officers and contract officers of the tourism department of Battambang province. The internal training course was conducted in the aim to train all officers and contract officers of the tourism department of Battambang province to know and understand about the utilization of information technology, in particular the utilization of social networks such as (Facebook, Facebook Page, Website, act) in order to promote wider tourism potentialities in Battambang province as well as in an entire Cambodia. The director of the department said that: social networks, currently, do play very important role in Cambodian tourism development, and when the people throughout the world, especially Cambodian people who will be given the injection of anti – Covid-19 vaccine through the royal government in the soon upcoming time will be no longer scare of this virus, and will start making trip in both domestic and to abroad. So, the using social networks to make information in terms of the tourist destinations available for those tourists is the most necessary thing and as the obligation of each officer and contract officer; it means that “one officer must be an resource in tourism dissemination”. Mr. Ret Roeum, chief of tourism information office, explained trainees elaborately about utilization of social networks (both creation, usage of each tool, and the content insertion, act) in order to serve in tourism sector in Battambang province as well as in the whole Cambodia. The training course was completed with a fruitful and satisfied outcome.
