Tourism Minister Leads Expert Working Group Meeting to Be Ready for Implementing Road-map on Recovery and Tourism Promotion Plans During and Post-Covid-19 Crisis

(Phnom Penh): On the morning of 24th December 2020, at the office of the Ministry of Tourism, His Excellency Minister THONG Khon led a skilled working group to get ready for road-map implementation on tourism recovery and promotion plan during and post-Covid-19 crisis. Please be informed that, the ministry of tourism had already organized a road-map on tourism recovery and promotion plan during and Post-Covid-19 crisis, which the road-map is divided into three stages: Fist stage; Crisis Management in New Normal Stage and Recovery Plan Preparation (2020 – 2021); Second stage: Recovery of Cambodian Tourism after Covid-19 Crisis (2022 – 2023), and Third stage: Preparation Forward to New Future of Cambodian Tourism (2024- 2025). A draft of road-map was submitted for approval from National Committee for Tourism Development, and received support from all relevant ministries – institutions, and is scheduled to submit for last approval from the National Committee for Tourism Development, and submitted for approval from the Royal Government in time to come.
