Cambodia to Celebrate World Tourism Day 2022 on Upcoming 3rd October under Theme “Rethinking Tourism”

(Phnom Penh): Ministry of Tourism will celebrate World Tourism Day 2022, on the upcoming 3rd of October under the theme “Rethinking Tourism”, which will highlight the change and world tourism trends after the COVID-19 crisis.

The same notification confirmed that the Ministry of Tourism would like to inform the capital – provincial departments of tourism, private institutions, tourism associations, tour operators, hotels, restaurants, tourism vocational training schools, and concerned parties in tourism that the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) will celebrate officially 42nd World Tourism Day on 27th September 2022, in Indonesia and UNWTO member nations will celebrate this day in proper time in their respective countries, with also participation from national and international concerning parties.

As above informed, the Ministry of Tourism will celebrate World Tourism Day 2022 on the upcoming 3rd October 2022, in the capital of Phnom Penh, under the theme “Rethinking Tourism”, which will highlight the change and world tourism trends after the COVID-19 crisis.

To congratulate the celebration of World Tourism Day 2022 and to promote Cambodian tourism, the Ministry of Tourism established posters, in conjunction with pictures of Cambodian tourist destinations.

In this sense, the Ministry of Tourism invited the capital – provincial departments of tourism, private sector, tourism associations, tour operators, hotels, restaurants, tourism vocational training schools, and concerned parties in tourism to take part in the World Tourism Day 2022 and contact the Ministry of Tourism for posters and promote widely.
